Indian Springs welcomes Dr. Bill Lancaster in his first preaching engagement with us. Dr. Lancaster is a retired District Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene from the Houston, Texas District.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Emmanuel College and holds an honorary Doctors of Divinity from Southern Nazarene University. His forty years of ministry include pastoring various Churches of the Nazarene, church planting and serving as a District Superintendent for a number of years in the Mississippi and Texas districts.

Dr. Lancaster’s passion throughout his career has been preaching and involvement in missions. He has been instrumental in the building of six churches on the mission field. His ministry has taken him to places such as the Virgin Islands, Russia, Germany, Israel and Greece. He is a gifted fund raiser and has raised over four million dollars for missions while serving as District Superintendent.

Dr. Lancaster enjoys woodworking and fishing. He and his wife, Retha, have two children and three grandchildren. The Lancaster’s live in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.
