Larry and Angie Overholt (2008)

Serving OMS International in Honduras

Biographical Information: The Overholts bring unique gifts to their ministry in Choluteca, Honduras. Larry's background is Agriculture and Human & Community Resource Development. Angie's passion is nursing and family care. Together, they have served the Lord through church planting, evangelism and community development.

WGM's ministry in Choluteca started in 1999 after Hurricane Mitch. The national church and Mission worked together in sending a pastoral family to establish a regional church. In 2000, the Overholts joined in developing this ministry in which the church focuses on community transformation and humanitarian needs.

This regional ministry team is involved in church planting and discipleship. Another aspect of the ministry is economic development, education, health care and sports. Each of these areas interacts with the other for successful development of a community. The Overholt's ministry includes four established congregations and a leadership training program.

Angie and Larry have three children and one grandchild.
