Indian Springs Holiness Camp Meeting · Flovilla, GA July 12-22, 2012

Marcia Pavey and her daughter, Nicole Pavey Butler, are the talented leaders of our Nursery and Preschool. Marcia has led this vital program since 1984. Since Marcia grew up attending another campmeeting (up north!), she is aware of how important child care is to the life of a campmeeting community.

When Maria first took over the Nursery, it was just "The Porch" and 30 children. Twenty four years later, the nursery has two buildings, a fenced playground and 50-60 children. Many of the nursery workers return year after year because they love the children so much.

Marcia and Nicole provided helpful information about the needs of the Nursery in 2009 when it was renovated. These improvements resulted in a safer and cleaner environment for our children.

Marcia states it is gratifying that many of the children she taught 20 years ago are now grown and bring their children to learn about Jesus on the "The Porch."

Nicole Pavey Butler and her mother, Marcia Pavey, make up the dynamic duo overseeing Indian Springs’ Nursery and Preschool Ministries.

Nicole was a ‘campmeeting child’ herself and grew up on the camp ground.  She even met her husband on the camp ground! She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and her graduate degree from Oklahmoma University.

She found her natural calling with the Nursery when the Folds Nursery was established. Nicole loves caring for the children of Indian Springs.  She wants even our smallest campers to learn about God, His truths, and His creation as they grow at Indian Springs!
